As a non-matriculated student, can
I register for Online CCSU course(s)?
Yes.
Non-matriculated students (students who have not applied for or have not
been formally granted admission to CCSU) may take
credit-bearing courses at either the undergraduate or graduate level.
(permission needed byGraduate Dean for
undergraduate students seeking permission in graduate level courses) As
a non-matriculatedstudent, you may
take courses for professional or personal development.
How can I register for an Online CCSU course?
If you are interested in taking advantage of the wide
variety of courses available at Central Connecticut State University, you can register in one of four
ways through the Office of Continuing Education / Enrollment Center:

PLEASE NOTE: All students registering for classes at the
undergraduate
level who graduate prior to the start of those classes will have their
charges changed to graduate level. This WILL result in an additional
amount due once their records have been updated to reflect their
graduation.

What about financial aid?
Non-matriculated students do not qualify for financial
assistance. Matriculated
students follow the same eligibility requirements as with on-ground courses.
As
a matriculated student you may be able to apply your financial aid to your
online
courses.

How do I receive a confirmation
for my Online CCSU course(s)?
Once we have registered
you for the Online CCSU course(s) we will send you a
schedule and receipt of payment in the mail. On your schedule, you will find
your
8-digit CCSU ID number which is needed to activate your CentralPipeline
account.
If you have do not receive confirmation or have registered late please email
us
at
onlineccsu@ccsu.edu
and we will provide you with confirmation.
How do I activate my
CentralPipeline account?
Upon initial registration, new students are assigned an 8-digit CCSU ID
number.
(If you do not know your CCSU ID number, please call the Enrollment Center
at
860.832.2256.)
1. Go to:
https://accounts.ccsu.edu/wacctmgt/
2. Enter your 8-digit ID, last 4-digits of your SSN and your date of birth.
3. Click submit. You will receive a username and be asked to assign a
password.
4. The next screen that appears will explain our computer use policy.
At the bottom of this
screen, you will be asked to choose a CCSU email box or to set
forwarding to a valid off-campus email. If you prefer to read and store your
email on
the CCSU mail server, choose a CCSU email box. If you prefer to read email
via an off-campus address,
please provide that address. It is important that this off-campus
be a valid email address that you check regularly. Continue with the
activation
process of getting your username and setting your password.
How do I start my online class?
1. Log onto CentralPipeline at
http://pipeline.ccsu.edu
using the username and password you created when you activated
your account.
2. Click on the ‘Student' tab
3. Click on the link that says "Click here to access Blackboard Vista".
Blackboard
Vista will open in a separate window and then click on the name of your
class.
How do I obtain transcripts or
transfer my online course?
As a fully accredited university, CCSU credits are generally accepted at
schools
nationwide. We recommend speaking with your advisor and filling out the
necessary
transfer credit approval forms prior to enrolling in a class offered outside
your home
university.
