We are committed to providing high quality technical support, resources and services offered by the IT Help Desk, ResNet Support, Face-to-Face Support, the Marcus White Student Technology Center, and the Instructional Design and Technology Resource Center.
The IT Help Desk -Serves as the single point of contact for assistance with University technology such as your BlueNet Account, CentralPipeline, the wireless network, Clean Access, virus protection, and other computer services. Support is provided to all faculty, staff, and students.
ResNet Support -Helps students living in the residence halls configure and connect their computers to the campus network and the Internet. ResNet (short for Residential Network) support is obtained by contacting the IT Help Desk at (860)832-1720. During the regular semester, ResNet also offers walk-in computer support so that you can bring your computer to a designated location for support, no appointment necessary.
Face-to-Face Support - Provides one-on-one, in-person technology support for your portable computer and campus technology. Services include computer configurations to access the campus network, virus and spyware removal, remote application configuration, CentralPipeline assistance and more.
Marcus White Student Technology Center (Computer lab) -Provides more than 250 computers, as well as, print and scanning services, for students, faculty and staff. Staff members are always available to provide guidance and assistance for users of the lab.
Instructional Design and Technology Resource Center (IDTRC) -The IDTRC, located in Willard Hall room 004, provides technology assistance to students. Visit our web site at www.ccsu.edu/idtrc to register for one-on-one assistance with multimedia class assignments, creating PowerPoint presentations, blogging, and social networking software. Students are also welcome to register for and attend our Digital Seminar Series workshops. You may also use the IDTRC for work on group projects.
