The Administrative Faculty Union was established at CCSU in 1977 in order to establish consistency in job descriptions, rank, benefits and compensation.  In these days of tight budgets and reduced state labor the need for the union continues to grow so that employees are not abused and are compensated properly, with benefits for the work they do to support students and faculty in the education mission of the CSU System.
