Apply at the Start of Spring Semester (Early January-February)
Every summer EOP employs Peer Mentors and Assistants with Residence Life to serve as teacher assistants, counselors, supervisors, tutors, and role models. Peer Mentors are CCSU undergraduate students who typically are seeking to gain experience in education, social work, criminal justice, or a career working with young adults. Assistants with Residence Life (AR) are CCSU seniors or graduate students who take the additional responsibility for supervising the evening residential component.
The EOP employment process is highly competitive and as such we recommend that you apply and interview during January and February. The goal is to have the summer staff hired by April.
