Adobe Software
On-Campus Licensing
We have a campus-wide site license for the Adobe CS6 Master Collection. For information about the Master Collection, click here. To have the Adobe software installed on your CCSU-owned Windows computer, please contact the IT Help Desk at 860-832-1720. To install the Adobe software on your CCSU-owned Mac computer, click here.
Home Use Licensing
Our Adobe Creative Suite Master Collection site license allows actively-employed CCSU faculty and staff the use of this software on up to 2 personally-owned computers (either 2 Windows computers or 2 Mac computers, we cannot give out one of each license). To request your license code, please complete the request form located here.
Adobe Total Training
Along with our site license of the Adobe CS6 Master Collection, we have licensing for online training through Total Training. Active faculty and staff may register for an account to use the online training. Please e-mail the IT Help Desk at techsupport@ccsu.edu to request the link and activation code for the online training.
Adobe Acrobat
Adobe Acrobat Professional is available via the Remote Application Server .
Under the "Adobe Applications" folder, choose Adobe Acrobat Professional. Version 8 is available to EVERYONE via the Remote Application Server.
In addition, you can make a PDF file from any Microsoft Application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.). Open your document, click on the Office button, then Save As and select PDF.
McAfee VirusScan Enterprise + Anti-Spyware Module
It is very important to have virus protection software on your computer and to update it regularly. We have a site license for the McAfee VirusScan Enterprise + Anti-Spyware software. This software is pre-installed on all campus computers. Faculty, staff, and students are allowed on copy of McAfee VirusScan Enterprise for home use. Microsoft Campus Agreement
We have site licenses for many Microsoft products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher, Access, FrontPage, Project, Visio, Visual Studio.Net, and the Windows operating system.
Microsoft Office for Windows and Mac is available for a discounted price for faculty and staff to download for home use through the Microsoft Home Use Program. To purchase the software, visit www.microsofthup.com and enter your University e-mail address and the University's program code. If you do not have the program code, e-mail the IT Help Desk at techsupport@ccsu.edu and request that it be e-mailed to you.
Microsoft Expression Web software is available on installation discs (DVD-ROM) per the Microsoft Campus Agreement for your home or portable computer, for work-related purposes. Please stop by the IT Front Office located in Henry Barnard room 019. You must present your Blue Chip ID card and sign a usage agreement.
SAS, SPSS, MiniTab, and Maple Licensing
SPSS, Minitab and Maple are available on or off campus via the Remote Application Server. SAS, SPSS, Minitab and Maple are available for installation on the IT Downloads page.
