The University of Cumbria's Lakeland Summer School is a three week academic program combined with a series of guest lectures on location-relavant topics and excursions to some Britain's best loved

tourist destinations.  In addition to visiting local sites of interest in and around the Lake District, you will also have the opportunity to visit Edinburgh and Chester.  Together with a long weekend trip to London,  will make this a summer to remember.

Academic Subjects
Students can select one course from the following offerings: Literature and the English Lake District, Outdoor Education, Transatlantic Politics or Roman Britain.  For a complete course description, please see the university's website.

Students will live on campus at the University of Cumbria's Lakeland Ambleside campus

Program Details

This program is open to undergraduate students with a minimum of one year of study at CCSU.

A minimum of 2.75 cumulative GPA is required.

Program Costs

The cost of the program is £2000.  This includes course tuition and accommodation
