Walk-In Technology Support
When and where is it?
We have one Walk-in Technology Support center:
Willard Hall, Room 013
Hours: Monday - Thursday 10am - 5pm, Friday 10am - 4pm
We are closed during any holidays observed by the University and on days where cancellations may occur.
Who is it for?
Walk-In Technology Support is available to all students, faculty, and staff. We provide one-on-one technology support for your portable computer and campus technology. Our services include assistance in accessing the campus and residential network (ResNet), virus and spyware removal, remote applications configuration, CentralPipeline assistance, software assistance, and more. Due to liablity we cannot repair hardware on personally-owned computers (i.e. hard drive crashes, memory installation, blue screens).
What do I need to bring?
Laptops, desktops, and towers are all welcome and supported; no need to bring your monitor, keyboard, or mouse. For students living on-campus, if it is not convenient to carry your computer from your room, see your Residence Director or Residence Assistant to sign out a cart so you can transport your computer to a Walk-In Technology Support center.
Do I need to schedule an appointment?
You do NOT need to schedule an appointment, just drop by and we will help you. However, please allow sufficient time for us to diagnose your problem. You must stay with your personally-owned computer while we are working on it.
