Based on the philosophy that lifelong learning is essential for continued professional competence, the Education Department at Central Connecticut State University is committed to providing distinctive and quality professional development to the surrounding districts and school systems.
Department faculty work collaboratively with leaders in the school districts to design programs which prepare professional educators with the skills and training needed to create learning environments where learners will be successful.
Our educators recognize the changing landscape and ever-challenging demands on today’s teachers and administrative workers.
CCSU offers opportunities for professional development on our campus, however our strength is designing a program specifically for your district.
We offer customized training in educational leadership, common core understanding, teacher evaluation, etc.
