ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR - HEALTH SERVICES [#C10-033]
Central Connecticut State University seeks full-time, 12 month, Associate Director of Health Services to provide direct care to students, and to supervise nursing and other healthcare staff. Administrative responsibilities include maintaining student records, coordination of health education, and collaboration with municipal and other state health agencies.
In line with the University's Strategic Plan, the Associate Director will mobilize Health Services in supporting established goals and strategic initiatives, such as academic success, retention and graduation. Collaboration across the division and institution is valued, as is assessment of student outcomes relating to the Strategic Plan.
Qualifications: B.S.N.; and, four years of nursing experience. Demonstrated ability to relate effectively to students and staff and supervision of other members of a healthcare team required. Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) from an accredited graduate program and current certification by a national certifying body in the appropriate APRN role (family and/or adult practitioner). Experience in a university or comparable health organization preferred.

DIRECTOR OF INTERCOLLEGIATE ATHLETICS [#C10-039]
SUPERVISOR: Chief Administrative Officer
POSITION SUMMARY
The Director is responsible for the overall supervision and administration of the Intercollegiate Athletic Program for the University, with special emphasis on fundraising and promotional activities.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED
Supervises coaches, administrative faculty, support staff and volunteers.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for organization and administration of the Intercollegiate Athletic Program, including fundraising, management of facilities, budget preparation, financial management, planning and staffing.
Works closely with the Central Connecticut State University Foundation on fundraising endeavors to maximize revenue in support of student scholarships and athletic facility expenditures.
Collaborates with the NCAA, the Northeast Conference, and the broadcast and television networks to ensure that Central receives maximum revenues and exposure from radio and television. Protects the interests of the University as related to all forms of media production.
Responsible for oversight of all Intercollegiate Athletic Department staff, including coaches, administrators, support staff, and volunteers.
Responsible for ensuring that all coaches and staff are in compliance with the rules and regulations governing the operation of the athletic program.
Plans, develops and recommends to the University Athletic Board specific procedures, programs and methods to implement the general athletic philosophy and policies of the University.
Develops and maintains a high quality sports information program covering all Intercollegiate Athletic programs.
Promotes athletic events held on campus and other events providing indirect benefits to the campus and community, such as Conference and NCAA championships, etc.
Provides regular updates on all aspects of the Intercollegiate Athletic Program to the Chief Administrative Officer, and to the President on request.
Performs other duties and responsibilities related to those enumerated above which do not alter the basic level of responsibility of the position.
QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree and five years of experience in an administrative or coaching position in an intercollegiate athletic program, including at least three years of supervisory and/or head coaching responsibilities, required. Demonstrated ability in athletic fundraising, public relations and sports marketing.
Credentials and/or experience substantially comparable to the above may also be considered.
