Mandatory Windows Updates, Postponed Until April 22nd
The IT department needs to make sure all computers are restarted on a regular basis in order to ensure security updates are properly applied. On the 3rd Tuesday of each month, a mandatory reboot command will be issued at 3:00am. This month however, the mandatory reboot will be delayed by a week due to Registration. On Monday April 22nd, please log off your computer but do not power it off. This will allow the patches to be sent down to your computer Monday night and then applied Tuesday morning. If you turn your computer off, shortly after turning it on Tuesday, your computer will restart in order to apply these updates.
