Consortium Agreement Information

A consortium agreement allows a matriculated student at CCSU enrolled for a minimum of 6 credit hours to take additional classes during a semester at a community college, another CSU system school, or UCONN.

However, if a CCSU student is enrolled full-time at CCSU and taking at least 12 credit hours,.it is possible to take additional classes at another particpating school for free.  This does not require a consortium agreement but the student needs to provide a signed Transfer Credit Evaluation Form to the CCSU Registrar for certification that the credits earned are transferable to CCSU and count towards the student's degree reqirements.  The student needs to make arrangements to attend the participating school at that school's business office..

Study Abroad Program

A CCSU student who wants to particpate in the Study Abroad Program must be a matriculated student at CCSU enrolled for a minimum of 6 credit hours.  The Center for International Education (CIE) administers the Study Abroad program at CCSU and approves students for particpation.  Without CIE approval, the student will not be eligible for financial aid.
