China Town Hall on Business Opportunities in China, Thursday Nov. 29
This coming Thursday, November 29th you are invited to participate in an event both culturally stimulating and educationally engaging. The newly established Confucius Institute at Central Connecticut State University in collaboration with the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations will be hosting China Town Hall: Local Connections, National Reflections on campus.
The event will be held in the Nutmeg Room in Memorial Hall, and will begin with a reception and refreshments starting at 6pm. Following the reception at 7pm the event will feature expert guest speaker, Rebecca Weiner, and CCSU faculty member Dr. David Fearon.
Rebecca Weiner will focus on career opportunities with China, opening business markets in China, as well as the general scope of U.S. - China business relations. Rebecca has more than 30 years business experience working with China, and is a true pioneer and expert in U.S.-China business relations. For more information on Ms. Weiner, please see her bio attached to this e-mail.
Dr. David Fearon will be supplementing Rebecca's presentation by speaking on the general state of affairs of business and management in the U.S. and how this relates to management on an international scale.
This event will be of great interest to anyone wanting to learn more about a wide variety of China topics. It should prove to be of great benefit in helping to foster the ‘global perspective’ that is a key part of the international business experience.
Please join us at the reception for the chance to network and communicate with others interested in China, and Chinese business. Hope to see you there.
