Nurse Anesthesia Program
Nurse Anesthesia Program (NAP) students are eligible for federal financial aid as a matriculated degree-seeking graduate student. You need to complete a FAFSA for each academic year to receive financial aid in the form of Federal Direct Unsubsidized Stafford, Graduate Plus, and private loans.
Direct Stafford and Graduate Plus loans are not available during the clinical phase of the program.
During clinicals, you are limited to borrowing from Private Lenders. The Cost-of-Attendance (COA) budgets listed below are for the academic year including Summer, the second year clinical at the hospital.
The COA budget is the maximum financial aid a student may receive, not the actual cost to attend CCSU.
NAP Class of 2016
Complete the 2013-14 and 2014-15 FAFSA to be eligible for the Direct Stafford Loan.
Any remaining need may be obtained by applying for a Direct Graduate Plus or private Loan.
The total amount of financial aid you may receive is dependent on your enrollment status; i.e., in-state, out-of-state, or New England Regional.
Excess aid over the semester tuition and fee charges is refunded following the drop-add period of each semester. The refund is issued by check and will be mailed to the student's address on file with CCSU or by direct deposit if arrangements have been made with the Bursar's Office.
