Nurses Anesthesia Program

Students in the Nurses Anesthesia Program (NAP) at CCSU become eligible for federal student aid as a matriculated degree-seeking graduate student.  It is required that the student file a FAFSA for each academic period if a student wants to receive student aid whether it be Federal Stafford, Graduate Plus, and private student loans.

Federal Direct Stafford and Graduate Plus loans are limited to the period the NAP student is on-campus attending clases.  When the student begins the praciticum part of the program at the participating hospital he or she is limited to borrowing from a private lender.  The following chart shows the Cost-of-Attendance (COA) budgets established for Summer 2009 and the 2009-2010 academic year including Summer 2010, the final Fall  2010 semester.
