Description
The Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen is one of Europe’s oldest universities. Several hundred years of history in the sciences and humanities have been written here. Tübingen notables include Hegel, Hölderlin and Schelling, Mörike and Uhland, Johannes Kepler and Wilhelm Schickard. Tübingen today remains a place of research and teaching. In addition to the nearly 85,000 inhabitants, there are 24,000 German and international students. Some 400 professors and more than 4000 other academic staff teach at the University’s seven faculties.

Students may follow an intensive language course (20 hours per week) in the Deutsch als Fremdsprache program (DaF) during their first semester.
Housing
Students will be housed in a student dormitory. Dormitory room reservations will be made by the international office or Auslandsamt of the host university.
