University of Cumbria
With campuses located in Lancaster, Carlisle and Ambleside, on the edge of England's beautiful Lake District, the University of Cumbria (formerly St. Martin’s College) is an excellent place to study. Lancaster offers many shops along picturesque streets, plus many opportunities for its students to explore the theatre, museums, live music and a wide range of ethnic restaurants. Choices for recreational activities also abound, as the College is within close distance to the region’s mountains, lakes, and seashore.
