Located in northwest England, Bolton is just ten miles from Manchester, which is easily accessible by train or bus. Residence Halls are within walking distance of all the downtown attractions including local markets, shopping malls, and a wide range of restaurants and entertainment.  Opportunities for outdoor recreational activities also abound, due to Bolton’s proximity to mountains, lakes, and the seashore.  The cost of living in this area is reputed to be the most inexpensive in England.
