Leadership, Equity and Student Success:
The Role of the Principal in Making a Significant Difference in Student Achievement and Quality of Life"

Course Description:
The purpose of this workshop is to assist principal and assistant principals to develop plans to help all students succeed. In addition to raising test scores, there are other critically important areas of student achievement that principals need to address.  These areas spring from a principal's vision, and require strategic thinking and careful planning and monitoring.  Principals cannot address these areas in isolation, and must know how to find partners and allies to undertake this work successfully. Suggested participants are Principals and Assistant Principals at the middle school and high school levels, or Educators at these levels who are working toward 092 certification and aspire to become assistant principals in the near future.
