Teacher Evaluation/Classroom Observation for Instruction Consistent with Common Core State Standards - Providing Feedback and Support that Makes a Difference.

Course Description:
Participants will observe, analyze and critique videos of classroom teachers and post-observation conferences in light of Common Core State Standards. Participants with leave with an enriched set of strategies to bolster instruction in the Common Core. Workshop is open to supervisors and administrators responsible for classroom observation and Feedback.

Instructor Dr. Betty Sternberg is currently a Professor of Educational Leadership at CCSU. She has served as Connecticut's first woman Commissioner of Education and Superintendent of Greenwich Public Schools and holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction from Stanford University.
