Course Description:
Lean Enterprise improvement practitioners are trained professionals who do process and product improvement project work. The focus of Lean Enterprise is to reduce waste in our processes, improve lead times and on-time-delivery, reduce inventory levels, cut costs and provide better service to the customer. This training will provide you with the knowledge to implement Lean Enterprise process improvement in your organization. Learn the meaning and methods to implementing such things as pull systems, flow, standard work, takt time and many more items. This training provides the methodology and tools to begin the journey for improving processes, services, or products, in order to achieve performance breakthrough. It will include in-class exercises, real life case studies and practice with tools, which are required to achieve certification. Some topics of the training include: Lean Overview, Benefits, Results Implementation, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work and Cellular Design, 5S and Visual Management, Setup Reduction and TPM, Kanban & Strategic Inventory Management, Mistake Proofing (Poke Yoke), Job Shop Lean, Strategic Planning, Lean Office Process Improvement.
