Community Central focuses on inspiring and facilitating connections between CCSU students and the local New Britain community. Located in a storefront on West Main Street in downtown New Britain, Community Central is a student-oriented, pedestrian-friendly space where students and faculty can work to collaborate on various community outreach projects.

Naylor/CCSU Leadership Academy (NCLA)
The Naylor/CCSU Leadership Academy (NCLA) is a professional development school and dynamic learning community in which students, faculty and families collaborate to prepare school professionals, support student achievement and foster community connections. Students volunteer as mentors to Naylor School’s Pre-K to eighth-grade students and participate in a wide variety of educational field experiences.
