| Becoming Exceptional: President Miller's Vision for CCSU |

President Miller has declared that "it's time for CCSU to set out on a bold new course to become exceptional." Speaking to an assembly of faculty and staff at the opening of the academic year, he laid out the challenge: "We can build on what we’ve accomplished, but we’ve really got to reach for much loftier goals....I think a realistic goal for us is to be an exceptional, regional public comprehensive university.” For more on this bold new vision, please click here.

| Continuing Education: Off to Strong Start; More to Come! |

The new Continuing Education program got off to a strong start in the fall semester. Stay tuned for more information about Spring 2013 classes. Look for some more great professional, educational, and business development classes, plus new lifelong learning and cultural development programs. Probable new offerings include workshops on school bullying, professional communications skills, opera, Spanish, Photoshop, and others. Spring 2013 course information will be available mid December, and at the same online site: www.ccsu.edu/con-ed. |
