The Department of Teacher Education consists of 3 Divisions: Early Childhood and Elementary Education; Secondary Education; and Educational Studies. The programs offered include a B.S. in Elementary Education, a Master of Arts in Teaching, and M.S. programs in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, and Educational Studies. The programs are for individuals who wish to teach in elementary, middle and secondary schools; for teachers wishing to acquire an M.S. degree, and for other education professionals wishing to further their knowledge and credentials.
