for First Year Experience Courses

The Learning Center offers a variety of study skills and learning strategy classroom presentations for FYE faculty. Classroom presentations are available on the following topics:

• Introduction to The Learning Center
• Making the Transition to College Level Learning
• Academic Integrity
• Time Management
• Taking and Utilizing Class Notes
• Memory Strategies
• Academic Goal Setting and GPA Calculations
• Reading Strategies and  Learning New Terms
• Active Studying Strategies
• Exam Preparation, Overcoming Test Anxiety, and/or Post-Exam Review

Our academic coaches are happy to present for your FYE classes more than once or to combine topics is a way that best fits your curriculum!
