STUDY ABROAD

Study in another country – whether you are there for a few weeks, a semester, or a full year – is so much more than just traveling and being a tourist. Overseas study is an opportunity for you to gain valuable, first-hand international experience that will improve your chances of landing a job and will greatly expand your career options. As a major in the School of Education and Professional Studies, you will have the opportunity to learn about the educational theories and practices of different countries, and come to know more about the shared concerns and goals of teachers, students, health care providers, social workers around the world.

Study abroad will enable you to:

  • Earn credits for your degree
  • Experience a different culture
  • Challenge yourself to become more independent
  • Gain a global perspective
  • Enhance your résumé
