Eligibility Criteria: U.S. citizen or permanent resident, financial need, satisfactory academic progress, seeking 1st Bachelor’s degree.

Application Deadline: Plan to apply at least a few weeks before start of classes.
Amount of Award: Variable. Maximum award for 2013-2014 Academic Year is $5,645.
You cannot receive a Federal Pell Grant at more than one institutions per semester.
Federal Pell Grant Eligibility
Congress adopted a new provision affecting Federal Pell Grant eligibility. The amount of Federal Pell Grant funds a student may receive over their lifetime is limited to the equivalent of six years of full-time enrollment.
Students will be able to check their eligibility by logging into the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) Student Access Web site. Students will need to use their Federal Student Aid PIN to login to this site to view their Pell Grant eligibility
