Miscellaneous Policies
HOLDS
If a student fails to meet his or her financial obligations to the University, the Office of the Registrar may place a hold on the student's records. Students with holds are not permitted to register for classes or receive a diploma or transcripts.
OVERAWARDS
It is the student's responsibility to advise Financial Aid Office of all scholarships, outside awards, or other resources that the student may receive. If at any time it is discovered that you have been overawarded financial aid, you are responsible for repaying the amount that exceeds your eligibility regardless of the reason for the overaward.
VERIFICATION
The University awards and administers some federal student aid program funds. Therefore, the Financial Aid Office has the right to request verification of all data submitted on the financial aid application and to adjust or cancel awards accordingly. It is your responsibility to comply in a timely manner with all requests for verification.
DEFAULT
You may be denied financial aid at Central Connecticut State University or other institutions if you default on any student loan.
