| CCSU Alumni Among the Top 40 Under 40 in Connecticut |

Three CCSU alumni were recently noted for their success before the age of 40 in Connecticut Magazine’s “40 Under 40.” Israel Caro III ’01, co-founder of the full-service woodworking company Cronus Construction, works with CIL, a nonprofit affordable housing company, to provide equal opportunity housing to low income families,and with Connecticut LAMPP to remove lead hazards from homes where children are at risk for lead poisoning. Roger Wierbicki ’98 has worked in communications with several high-profile corporations, including Polygram Label Group and Island Records. Kinga Evans ’04, who emigrated from Poland when she was 18, has had a successful career in insurance and banking industries in Connecticut. NPR's "Where We Live" -- Senatorial Candidates Debate

On May 24,CCSU's Robert A. Vance Chair of Journalism and Mass Communication John Dankosky, host of NPR's "Where We Live," will host a debate among Connecticut's Democratic US senatorial candidates. The program will be held at 9 am, in Torp Theater, with moderators Ned Lamont and Oz Griebel (former candidate for the Republican gubernatorial nomination). CCSU alumni, faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend.
