Fundraising Priorities for Blue Devils Campaign for CCSUCCESS

 A Campaign for a Commitment to Excellence - $3,250,000 – 2012-2016

Our guiding principle for this campaign is A Commitment to Excellence in all aspects of our program, with the primary objective of maximizing the student-athlete experience through a focus on their academic, athletic, and social success.  Additionally, the goals outlined below are designed to help us achieve these objectives by creating both annual and long term resources that provide and ensure the long term stability and fiscal integrity of our program.

We have established the following set of priorities for this campaign to achieve these aforementioned objectives:

1. Sport Program and General Operating Budgets - $750,000 (over 5 years)
Goal: Fund all sport programs commensurate with our expectations, to achieve consistent competitive success as one of the top four programs in the Northeast Conference and compete regularly for conference championships in each sport.

2. Scholarships - $1,000,000 (over 5 years)
Goal: Create funding levels for all sports commensurate with the expectation to improve our ability to recruit, retain and develop the best and brightest student-athletes from the state of Connecticut, New England, and Middle Atlantic regions, and in some cases nationally.

3. Support Staff - $500,000 (over 5 years)
Goal: Enhance and maximize the student-athlete experience and our ability to develop and mentor them academically, athletically, and personally by increasing the number of full time assistant coaches, full time strength and conditioning and athletic training staff, full time staff in support service areas and administrative support in the areas of marketing and revenue generation.

4. Facility Improvements - $1,000,000 (over 5 years)
Goal: Continue to enhance and maximize the performance capability, functionality, aesthetics and fan friendly environment throughout our entire facility complex for student-athletes, staff, and the community.
