Central Connecticut State University Campus Tour Sessions:

...Come and See What We Are All About... 

Thank you for your interest in CCSU's campus tour sessions! The college decision making process can be a time of uncertainty, however, this process can also be an exciting one! Central's campus tour sessions are designed for prospective students and their families to learn more about what Central has to offer. Campus tour sessions are offered daily Monday through Friday and take place in our STUDENT CENTER. Your session will begin with a 30 minute information session given by one of our admission counselors who will highlight key important facts about our application process as well as general information about our university-all that will be significant information for you to know during your college search process!  Your College Tour Guide will then take you on a guided 90 minute walking tour for a more up close and personal look of CCSU's campus.

Your campus tour will include stops at various student service and academic buildings including: Robert C. Vance Academic Center, Elihu Burrit Library, a newly constructed Student Center, Memorial Hall: our university dining hall, Marcus White Computer Lab, Copernicus Hall, which not only houses Central's School of Engineering and Technology Programs, but also our University Learning Center where students will find our academic coaches, math tutoring lab, as well as our disability support service center.

PLEASE NOTE! Due to the demand for housing, it is NOT a guarantee that prospective students will be able to see an actual showroom while out on tour. Your College Tour Guide WILL be able to take you through the residence hall Quad as well as into one of our residence halls so you may receive a general feel of the campus living environment, however, seeing a particular room is NOT a guarantee.

Group Tour Information:

If you are a counselor or teacher who would like to bring a group of students: please contact Donna DeCarlo, Admissions Representative at 860-832-2296 or at decarlo_dom@ccsu.edu to discuss your request. School group tours are by appointment only. Group tour requests will only be honored as space in our schedule allows.

If you have any specific questions or find that you cannot make it to your scheduled tour, please call Tour Operations at 860-832-2289. If you have difficulty reaching someone in Tour Operations, feel free to call the receptionist in the Office of Recruitment & Admissions at 860-832-2278 between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm. In the event of inclement weather, please check our Website at http://www.ccsu.edu/cancellation or call our snow phone at 860-832-3333 to determine if your tour has been canceled. Tours are still conducted in light snow and/or rain.
