IT Governance & Advisory Groups

The CIO reports to the President and is a member of the President's Cabinet. In addition to the President's Cabinet and the IT staff, the CIO also receives input from three official campus advisory groups. A schematic drawing of the reporting relationships of the three groups appears below:

• The BCT, Banner Coordinating Team, consists of key staff who provide advice on the use and optimization of our administrative computing systems such as Banner.
   
• The ITC, Information Technology Committee, consists primarily of faculty (voting) and staff (non-voting) members. Their focus is on academic technology issues.
   
• ITAC, Information Technology Advisory Committee, is composed of faculty, staff, and students plus representatives from both the BCT and ITC.The ITAC takes a broad look at information technology across campus and fosters communication among the respective groups.
