 Important Deadlines for Students

Once students have been accepted to the University, a request for a confirmation deposit and a form to request housing will be mailed out. Please make sure to respond within the allotted timeframe so that you will secure your space at CCSU as a student and if you are seeking housing, as a residential student.

As you complete paperwork to become a student at CCSU, please review all deadlines by accessing the websites listed below. Many of these deadlines are July 15th for the fall semester and December 15th for the spring semester. Failure to meet these requirements may affect your ability to register for classes, change your schedule and/or may adversely affect your status as a student at CCSU.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL INCOMING FULL-TIME STUDENTS
(Including transfer and exchange students, and those changing from part-time to full-time status)

All full-time students are required to submit the required health forms to University Health Service no later than July 15 for the fall semester and December 15 for the spring semester.

TRANSFER STUDENTS
Your health information is NOT automatically transferred with your academic records from your prior university.
You must submit a completed form with all required information as if you were a first time college student.

RESIDENTIAL STUDENTS
Proof of Meningococcal vaccination (Menactra) is required for all residential students prior to room assignment. No student may move into campus housing without proof of this vaccine.


Alerts and Notifications

Class Cancellation & Storm Phone
Cancellation and delay information for Central Connecticut State University will be made available on the Storm Phone: (860) 832-3333 and on the Web: http://www.ccsu.edu/page.cfm?p=1402. These services will be updated twice daily: 6:00 a.m. for the day schedule and, if necessary, 2:00 p.m. for the evening schedule. The University may also deploy its Emergency Notification System in announcing cancellations, especially in cases of rapidly developing severe weather.

Emergency Notification System
The Emergency Notification System will be used to alert the CCSU community in the event of a serious threat to campus safety.  Emergency information will be distributed via telephone, text message, and voice mail. All students are signed up for this system automatically, if you would like more information go to our website at: http://www.ccsu.edu/page.cfm?p=596.
Students are encouraged to examine their contact information by logging in using their Bluenet User Name and Password here: https://webapps.ccsu.edu/CCSU_MIR3/login.aspx.  Additional contact information may be added as desired. Students should report any errors to the Registrar’s Office 860-832-2236.
