Dedication of Veterans Monument

CCSU will dedicate the new Veterans Monument at the Student Center Circle.  A marker bearing this dedication will appear on the monument:

"This site is dedicated to the Central Connecticut State University students, faculty and alumni, both living and deceased, who have served or are currently serving in the nation’s armed forces.  May they be remembered for their service to the United States of America and for their unselfish commitment to preserve and defend our freedom."

The University will also then award the community and University Veterans Excellence Awards, and the student recipient will receive the first Veterans Excellence Scholarship.
