Keynote Speaker : Binyavanga Wainaina, writer of fiction, essays, memoirs. Received the 2002 Caine Prize for African Writing, Africa's most prestigious literary award; other honors include a Lannen Foundation Fellowship (2007), Chevening Scholarship (2003 04), and a special award for contributions to Kenyan literature from the Kenya Publishers Association (2002). He is a Bard Fellow and Director, The Chinua Achebe Center for African Literature and Languages
