Sławomir Dobrzański is a professor of piano at Kansas State University. He is a graduate of the Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw Poland, and completed the Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of Connecticut. He recently released a CD with music of an early romantic composer and pianist Maria Szymanowska. He regularly performs solo and with the Atma Trio all over the world.
Voice of Poland, the Polish radio program, has been successfully run by Mrs. Teresa Borowska for the past 30 years. It was established in November 1983 with the support of the Polish community. Mrs. Borowska organized over 30 concerts of classical music, many of them on the CCSU campus. Among the many distinguished artists were Halina Czerny-Stefanska , Edwin Kowalik, Teresa Kaban, Neal Larrabee, and Andrzej Anweiler.
