Social Justice: Exploring Unheard Voices, Mar 1

Please join students, faculty, staff and community partners from around the State of Connecticut at Central Connecticut State University on March 1, 2012 for the Institute for Municipal and Regional Policy’s conference, “Social Justice: Exploring Unheard Voices.”

Exploring Unheard Voices will give students an opportunity to listen to empowering stories of citizens that are unheard. Students will learn of opportunities of how to affect change in their communities with the right skills. This free student conference will focus on using personal stories as an avenue for improving communities. As individuals we use our stories to develop best practices for exploring life.  It is important to bring students together to share ideas and become engaged citizens.
