2013 Civil Rights Lecture Series

Speaker Mrs. Peggy Wallace, daughter of Segregationist and Governor of Alabama, the late George E. Wallace, whose father’s philosophy of racism and segregation became the cornerstone of hatred in the south. She opposed many of her father’s philosophies at an early age and later became a Civil Rights Activist, working closely with many of Dr. King’s allies for the struggle for equality in America.
