The CCSU Good Neighbor Event, which took place April 2, 2015, appears to have been successful. Student Dean Ott organized the event, which included students, staff and neighbors going into the neighborhoods to clean up yards, and leave an informational door hangar

Alderman Naples is working with New Britain to change city ordinances. Alderman Naples has completed work in collaboration with CCSU and New Britain city officials to create a “Student Responsibilities” brochure to help students understand responsibilities on living in New Britain.

Office of Wellness Education committed close to $6000 of grant funds for additional patrols on Thursday evenings to increase CCSU police presence in the Belvedere section of New Britain.

Block Watch – the coalition explored the possibility of forming a number of neighborhood Black Watches. New Britain police offered to train neighbors in how to manage a Block Watch in the Belvedere section of New Britain.

Town & Gown coalition has a new Co-Chair in Mr. Chris Dukes, Office of Student Conduct, Director.
