Central Connecticut State University is currently undergoing a 10-year review for the New England Association Schools and Colleges (NEASC), Commission on Institutions of Higher Education (CIHE), using the standards adopted by NEASC in 2005.

Committees made up of CCSU faculty, staff and students have developed a self-study, comprising three sections: documentation, appraisal, and projection. A NEASC-appointed team will conduct a site visit at CCSU from October 19 through October 22, 2008.
