Video Tape Duplication

Craig Pocock · room 15A · 832-2029

VHS videotapes will be duplicated only when accompanied by written permission from the copyright holder, which remains in the Media Center. It is the requester's responsibility to obtain copyright clearance. This also applies for 16mm film to tape transfers and other instructional materials formats. All tape duplications using Media Center tape remain the property of the Media Center and must be returned after use. Request forms are available in the Media Center. Duplication requests take a minimum of two (2) weeks to process.

The Media Center also has the ability to convert international standard (PAL, SECAM, etc.) VHS videotapes to the US standard (NTSC) and vice versa. This procedure is subject to the same guidelines and copyright restrictions as other duplication requests.
