Connecticut-wide HRM/OB Academic and Practitioner Conference

Hosted by: Central Connecticut State University Organized by Management and Organizations in the School of Business
Faculty, doctoral students, and business practitioners interested in presenting empirical research or case study material should submit
a 2000 word abstract. Submissions should follow to the Abstract Manuscript Template
which can be found here.
Submission deadlines: February 28, 2018
All submitted abstracts will be double blind peer-reviewed.
HR practitioners who are interested in submitting a workshop proposal should submit a 1000 word abstract
that outlines the HR topic/issue you would like to have workshopped.
Submission deadline: March 28, 2018
Undergraduate and Masters students can submit a full-length paper to be considered for Best Paper. Submissions should
follow the Paper Manuscript Template. Please check back for guidelines.
Submission deadline: April 20, 2018
All submitted papers will be reviewed and the Best Paper awards will be decided upon by a three-university HRM/OB faculty committee. Awards for both categories will be:
- First Place - $300
- Second Place - $150
- Third Place – Certificate + $20 Starbucks gift card
Undergraduate and Masters students can alternatively/in addition too, submit interest in a poster presentation during the conference. Interest for Poster Presentation should be submitted by May 1, 2018 Submissions for all categories should be sent to HRMConference@ccsu.edu
Registration is open to any faculty, student, and practitioner who is interested in attending the conference. Presenting is not a requirement for attendance.
