ID 102: Master Student

Course Overview

ID 102: Master Student is a one-credit comprehensive learning strategies course designed to improve thinking and study skills.  Generally, the course is graded on a Pass/Fail basis.

Students use current texts and notes from their own courses to master the learning skills.  The goal of the course is for students to become independent, engaged and active participants in their college courses.  Students can apply the new study skills to their courses within a few weeks. 

Semester Overview
ID 102: Master Student program lasts for an entire semester, and each week there is a different topic of discussion.  The list below summarizes the topics discussed throughout the semester.

How to Register for ID 102: Master Student
ID 102: Master Student is available to all students at CCSU.  Students may register for the course through Central Pipeline during the designated registration period. Students can search for open sections by:
  1.)  Selecting "Interdisciplinary" in the subject box and "102" as the course number 2.)  Typing in "ID" in the subject code and "102" as the course number
If all ID 102 sections are full, and you are still interested in learning the strategies for success, you can arrange for one-on-one study skills appointments.
