How old is your computer?
Information Technology Services determines the age of your computer based on the state asset tag number associated with your computer. It should be located on the main piece of your computer (CPU) where the floppy and CD drives are housed. The number should begin with "78020" If your asset tag is lower than 7802088999, you may be eligible for a computer upgrade. This number is an approximate date of the time the computer was purchased. Computers with a lower number than 7802088999 were purchased before April, 2004 and are due for an upgrade.
