To back up your emails in Entourage:

  1. Click on File, then Export
  2. Verify that “Items to an Entourage archive” is checked. Also check which items you want to back up (Usually check “All items”).
  3. Click on the Next arrow located in the bottom right side of the Export box
  4. Next it will ask you if you want to delete Archived Items - verify that “NO” is selected.
  5. Next it will prompt you to enter file name. Enter a file name. The location will default to your Documents folder which is a good place. Click on Save. Once it finishes exporting, click Done.
