REGISTRATION or ADD/DROP
Prior to doing your web registration or Add/Drop you should do the
following:
1.
Pick up a Course Registration booklet, available on campus in the
lobby of Willard Hall or in the hallway outside of Davidson 115.
2.
Meet with your faculty advisor to plan your course schedule changes.
3.
Fill out
the schedule form that is found in the Course Registration Booklet. Be sure
to note the CRN, a five digit course reference number, for each course that
is selected.
Full-time freshmen should register for 12 - 18 credits.
NOTE: Full-time
freshmen who drop below 12 credits may jeopardize their financial aid
standing, athletic eligibility, veteran’s status or housing eligibility. Part-time freshmen should register for 1-11 credits.
To Begin Web Registration or Add/Drop

Go to the CentralPipeline page:
http://pipeline.ccsu.edu

Log in with your BlueNet ID (username) and
password.

Go to the Student tab in
CentralPipeline.

Under WebCentral - Banner Web for Students, click
on:
Registration, Add/Drop Classes
Click on Select Term.
Click on the down arrow next to Term: and choose the
appropriate semester; click the Submit Term button.
Click on Check Your Registration
Status to review items that may affect your registration. This field
provides curriculum information on your level (undergraduate vs. graduate),
your degree, your major, and any holds that will prevent you from
registering.
If you find registration holds, you should contact the appropriate
office before attempting to register.
You will also be able to verify the correct dates and times that you may
register.
If
you have no restrictions, click on the button located in the top
right-hand corner of the page.
Click on
Registration Add/Drop Classes
To
register for classes, enter the CRN(s) in the
Add Class table until you
have entered all of your classes.
Click on the Submit Changes
button. If all of your classes
are accepted and you are all set, proceed to the “To Complete Your Web
Registration” section of this document.
To Make Changes To Your Web Registration
To drop a class you will
need to make a change in the Action field under
Current Schedule. Click
on the down arrow next to the word None for the class you want to
drop and select Drop Web from drop down list. When you are finished,
click on the Submit Changes button at the bottom of the page.

There are two ways to add additional classes:
1.
Look in the Course Registration Booklet to find classes. Enter the CRN(s) in the Add Class table.
When you are done, click on the Submit Changes button.
2.
You may also use the Class Search button found at the bottom
of the page. This feature
allows you to search through all available classes with specific search
criteria, which will help to narrow your search. You MUST select a
Subject to search by. All
other fields are optional.
After selecting all the criteria, go to the bottom of the table and click on
the Get Classes button.
When the list of classes appears, click in the box in front of the CRN field
for the class you would like to register for. After selecting the class, click either the Register
button or the
Add to Worksheet button found
at the bottom of the page. Continue until you have registered for all of
your classes. When you are
satisfied with your class selections, click on the Submit Changes
button.
To Complete Your Web Registration
Click on Finalize Registration and
Payment. This page will
list your charges for the semester up to this point.
Click on Student Schedule by Day & Time at the bottom of the
page to review your class schedule.
To Print a Copy of Your Schedule
While your schedule is
showing on the screen, click on the
PRINT icon (for your
Internet browser) located at the top of the window or choose Print from the
File Menu.

Exiting from Web Registration
Go
to the top of the page and click on the
button located in the right-hand corner.
You are now successfully web-registered.
To protect your privacy, it is very important that you Exit from
the Browser when you are done registering.
To do this, choose Exit from the Browser’s File Menu.

| If you want to make additional changes to your schedule, you may return
to Web Registration
any time during the registration period.

Add/Drop Schedule
| Assistance is available for Add/Drop during the first two weeks of the
semester in the Marcus White Computer Lab from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

FYE - Freshmen Year Experience Classes
|
Freshmen Year Experience classes (indicated by a section beginning with FY*)
are not accessible on the Web.
Any change in sections needs to be done with the assistance of your Academic
Advisor.
