Business Certificate Training
Programs (Titles only) |
|
CCSU's ITBD has a strong background in working with businesses and labor in
the community and has established the Business Certificate Training Program.
People's training needs range from those without job readiness skills to those
who, with some assistance, could qualify for higher level Manufacturing,
Quality, Engineering, Business, Information Technology, Construction and
Administrative opportunities. Additionally, some people, with the proper
training, may even start their own businesses.
ITBD provides a series of modules
and programs that range from 40 to 160 hours. Participants, depending on their
current skill capability, can elect to enter a module or program based upon
experience. A certificate will be awarded upon completion of the module or
program. These modules or programs require a minimum of 4 participants to run
and can take up to a maximum of 18 participants.
In addition to participation in
individual modules listed as blocks A thru P below, individuals may select a
"Career Opportunity Certificate Program", as noted below, which are a composite
of select modules A thru L, designed to enhance the skill level of participants
looking to enter a particular field of endeavor. The pricing for a program is
listed at a reduced rate, as compared to individual modules.
Classes will be scheduled as soon
as there are at least 4 participants registered.
Call the ITBD at (860) 827-7875 to register. Registration is open to the
general public and those who qualify under the Trade Act, Workforce Investment
Act and TANIF.
