Justus Beach Scholarship (2000)
-
Assists students from economically and
educationally disadvantaged backgrounds who are enrolled in one of
Central Connecticut State University's teacher preparation programs.
-
Preference to applicants who are enrolled in the
elementary education degree program and to students from low and
moderate income families in which neither parent has earned a college
degree.

Scholarship (2220)
- Enrolled in the School of Education’s
Elementary Education teacher preparation program.
- Must have
completed the sophomore year with a minimum grade point average of
3.0.
Class of 1940 Scholarship (2210)
- Junior or Senior in good academic standing
in any teacher preparation program.
Class of 1953 Scholarship (2230)
- Undergraduate student preparing for a
career in teaching education with an overall grade point average
of 3.0 at the end of the sophomore year of study (60 semester
hours).
- Demonstrated record of University and/or
community service.
Class of 1954 Scholarship (2231)
- Undergraduate student preparing for a
career in teaching education with an overall grade point average
of 3.0 at the end of the sophomore year of study (60 semester
hours).
Sidney L Cramer & Beatrice Kovner Cramer
Scholarship
- Awarded to the student enrolled in any
of the University's academic programs leading to public school
teacher certification with the highest cumulative grade point
average at the conclusion of the Junior year.
Ann C. Denault Scholarship (2305)
- Graduate of Crosby High School,
Waterbury, CT majoring in early childhood education.
- Must be accepted to the professional
program.
M. DeLott Garber Scholarship (2350)
- Junior in School of Education with a
minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average.
- Financial need may be considered at the
discretion of the faculty.
Geary Memorial Scholarship (2360)
- Junior majoring in Elementary Education
or Special Education; minimum 2.75 cumulative grade point average.
Arthur & Catherine Kevorkian Scholarship
(2418)
- Accepted for admission or currently
enrolled as a full-time undergraduate in the Professional Program
preparing for careers in teaching at the elementary or secondary
levels.
- A student receiving the scholarship as a
junior may receive the scholarship as a senior provided the
recipient remains a matriculated student in good academic
standing.
Ruth Schlichting Kossyta Scholarship

- Support for undergraduate students
majoring in elementary or secondary education.
- Must be accepted to the professional
program.
Lester Levine Scholarship (2610)
- Junior or senior majoring in education
with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
Frances E. Librera Scholarship
- Awarded to full-time, matriculated
undergraduate students in the School of Education and
Professional Studies majoring in Physical Education and Human
Performance with a minimum cumulative grade point average of
3.0.

- Full-time junior or senior in the
School of Education and Professional Studies at CCSU.
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point
average.
William McInerney/Class of '38 Scholarship

- Junior or senior level student in good
academic standing enrolled in any School of Education teacher
preparation program.
Charles Petitjean Scholarship

- Senior level student in good academic
standing enrolled in any School of Education teacher preparation
program.
Francis J. Rio Scholarship (2800)
- Full-time junior level undergraduate
student (minimum of 60 semester hours earned) with the highest
cumulative grade point average studying for a degree leading to
public school teacher certification in the natural sciences.
- Must be accepted to the professional
program.
Paul J. Sorbo Jr. Scholarship
- Provides support for incoming first-year
students who have been accepted for admission to the University
in the fall semester following their graduation from Windsor
High School. Applicants are expected to pursue a degree
leading to certification on any of the University's teacher
preparation programs.
William & Josephine (Bertino) Tansey
Scholarship (2830)
- Full-time junior or senior level student
majoring in mathematics education (mathematics teacher
preparation).
- Preference to students who are
Connecticut residents.
John Zubretsky, Sr. Scholarship

- Awarded to a students who are preparing
for careers in science education and who have been accepted to the
Professional Program leading to certification.
