Every applicant to the CCSU Honors Program will submit a sample of his/her own writing that best demonstrates to the Admissions Committee the student’s skills in critical thinking and writing mechanics (sentence structure, grammar, spelling, etc.). While a research paper with citations and full bibliography is preferred, a literary critical analysis paper is also acceptable. In addition, every student also shall include a brief essay (of approximately 250 words) explaining the strengths and weaknesses of their paper..
