AETNA HEALTH INSURANCE POLICY

WAIVER PROCESSING
 

SICKNESS INSURANCE is billed to all Full-time students.  This fee, which appears on your billing information, is mandatory
UNLESS waiver is submitted online by 9/02/08.

FULL TIME STUDENTS are automatically billed for the insurance in the Fall of each semester.
PART TIME STUDENTS who want to purchase the insurance policy will need to go to the Chickering website to do so directly.

CHANGE OF STATUS: 
If you change your Full-time status to Part-time status at the beginning of a term and want to purchase the Insurance Plan   you will need to contact to AETNA INSURANCE Company by going online to http://www.chickering.com for sickness insurance available to Part-time students.

Instructions for Waiving Sickness Insurance:

1. Login to CentralPipeline at http://pipeline.ccsu.edu, using student BlueNet ID and Password*.
    

2. Select the “Student” tab.
    

3. Select the link “Sickness Insurance Waiver” from the menu on the left under “WebCentral-
   Banner Web for Students”
    

4. Complete the online form with your current health insurance information and click “Submit”.
    

5. “INFORMATION HAS BEEN SAVED” will appear in red above the form.
    

6. PLEASE PRINT A COPY OF THE FORM, INCLUDING THE "INFORMATION HAS BEEN SAVED" MESSAGE, AND SAVE FOR YOUR RECORDS.
    

7. Waiver should be applied to your account within 24 hours.
    

8.  Do NOT include insurance fee in your payment if waiving.
