CPPSR Projects FY 98/99
Note: CPPSR is listed as staff when CPPSR personnel
play a substantive programmatic role in a project. CPPSR is not listed as staff
when contribution to a project is solely administrative. Impact scores
for the following projects are calculated by averaging separate
assessments completed by the CPPSR Director and Assistant Director.
There are five evaluation criteria for each project, ranked in
priority order below from most important to least important:
Student learning – the degree that students are
employed (voluntarily or paid) on projects in a way that advances
their education. Faculty scholarship – the degree that CCSU
faculty are employed (voluntarily or paid) on projects that
advance their scholarship/professional development. Client benefit – the degree that the client
receives a service that they would not be able to secure elsewhere
because costs are unaffordable or because of its specialized
nature. University relations – the degree that CCSU
gains favorable opinion in terms of public/community relations. Financial gain – the degree that CPPSR generates
