  Professional Counseling Program Description

 

Professional Counseling – Professional Counselors assist individuals with emotional, mental, social, and physical challenges in attaining their life goals. This Professional Counseling program at Central Connecticut State University provides the necessary academic background for students interested in pursuing licensing and a variety of advanced certifications in professional counseling. The 51 credit programs are designed for students interested in the practice of professional counseling in one of three specializations:

  • Rehabilitation Counseling

  • Mental Health Counseling

  • Drug and Alcohol Recovery Counseling.
